My name is Adebayo Banjo.
I’m a portrait & event photographer.

My name is Adebayo Richard Banjo, I was born and raised in Ogun State, Nigeria before relocating to Germany in 2018.

I earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from a Nigerian University in 2016 before deciding to pursue a career in photography which has always been a passion. I gained the necessary skill and interned at a reputable company in different capacities as an editor, retoucher, lighting manager, headshot photographer, studio photographer, event and wedding photographer.

My journey into photography has always been a passion-filled adventure. Growing up as a little kid in Africa, all we had were Analog cameras which sometimes took days for us to see what was captured. Over the years technology has impacted so much change in the industry which has allowed versatility and exploration of my skills working with numerous people and organizations from different parts of the World capturing timeless images.

Since settling in Germany, I have worked on various projects some of which are included in the “portfolio” section. Richie Photography is a brand, open to creative collaborations and bookings.

The camera is not only an extension of the eye, but of the brain. It  sees sharper, farther, nearer, slower, faster than the eyes, so instead of using the camera only to reproduce objects, I  use it to make what is invisible to the eye, visible.
